What additional charges related to car rentals may need to be paid on site?

In addition to your reservation, certain fees may need to be paid directly at the rental counter.

1. Optional Extras and Personalized Services

   You can choose to add equipment or services based on your needs:

   • Equipment: Baby seats, GPS, snow chains, etc.

   • Local Insurance: The rental company may offer additional insurance (such as deductible waivers or personal protection). You are free to accept or decline these.

   • Please note: If you already purchased the "Refundable Deductible" option during your booking, there is no need to accept the deductible waiver offered on-site by the rental company.

2. Fees Based on Your Situation
   

   Certain costs depend on the specific conditions of your trip:

   • Additional Driver: If someone other than the main driver wishes to drive the vehicle.

   • One-way / Drop-off Fees: If you return the car to a different location than where you picked it up.

   • Young Driver Surcharge: If you are under 25 or 26 years old (depending on the rental company).

   • Local Taxes: Certain specific airport or environmental taxes.
